Hey there. For all you that know me, know I have a good couple of friends Dean and Rhona who live in Scotland. I visit them from time to time, and last time was August 2006. I had a fantastic time, mostly mountain biking, and some kayaking and swimming in Loch Clunie too! They live in Blairgowrie in the Perthshire area, about 30mins NW of Dundee, and near the southern edge of the Grampians. Very beautiful countryside.

Below are a number of pics I took with my phone camera. I have managed to stitch a load of them into panoramas too. Don't forget to scroll horizontally to see all of the pictures.

Craigvinean Forest:

(This was a fairly sizeable forest with some nice large trails and a technical mountain bike downhill race route).

Path in Craigvinean Forest:

Above Craigvinean Forest:   (quicktime version)
(I rode above the trees onto a high plateau to get this)

Above Felar Lodge:
(A good long climb (about 14 miles) and I got to the top to see this)

Above Loch Ordie:   (quicktime version)
(A great route up to this loch, there was a large crag which I clambered up to get these pics)
